Annette is a multi-faceted entrepreneur whose creative outlet
has always been expressed through design. In addition, her
experience in the world of art and marketing provides a broad range
of expertise and provides exceptional value for her clients. After
having been art curator for Standard Oil for 12 years, purchasing
and displaying the corporation’s extensive art collection, Annette
began designing for the hospitality field in 1986. Her design
clients include restaurants and clubs in and around Houston, Texas
and in the international community as well. In addition to
designing clubs and restaurants, she has owned and operated them.
Her experience as a restauranteur provides practical, hands-on
knowledge and perspective in her designs. This allows her to create
projects that are as utilitarian as they are attractive.
Wholly Guacamole,
a magazine
produced and published by Annette, was designed to meet the needs of
food service directors nationwide. This magazine provided timely
information on food processes, equipment, and décor in an
easy-to-read, colorful and comfortable manner, reflecting the
personal style which Annette brings to all clients.
Over the last 17 years, Annette’s focus has moved from the private
sector to the public arena as she began designing and remodeling
school cafeteria and dining facilities. For traditional
institutional facilities, she creates an exciting and colorful
atmosphere normally only found in public restaurants. The results
provide not only a more pleasant environment for students and staff,
but increase sales… as much as 20% in some cases.
Being aware of the decreasing budgets, Annette now offers marketing
training and décor items that bring color and interest to any food
service line for just a few dollars through her Market Magic
book.
Annette and
Marketing Make Over offer a complete range of design and décor
items. She has the experience and creativity to design “showpiece”
facilities within limited budgets that are timeless in their look
and yet practical.
